Plant Specifications:
Ajowan is an annual herbaceous plant with a height of 20-50 cm. The leaves are feather-like, 2–3 pinnately divided. The segments are linear-thread like, with beaks 2-7 mm long and 0.2-0.3 mm wide. The bract and bracteole are usually in 2-5, lance-shaped with narrowing to both ends and membranous margins. The petals are white and small, emarginate, and hairy on the dorsal surface along the midline. The fruit is hairy, short, small and 2 mm long.
